Each trainee needs a computer with Wrap installed. A scanner is not required during the course. We work from scan data your team already has, and if you do not have any yet, we plan around that on the pre-training call.
No. This is a fundamentals course with no prerequisites, and we start from the basics of scan data. Team members who have used a 3D scanner or CAD software will move a little faster, but neither is required.
Yes, that is how we run it. We ask about your scanner and file formats on the pre-training call so the course uses the data your team works with every day.
Yes. The course covers building clean, watertight meshes from scan data and checking that a model is fully closed before it goes to print.
Take Wrap if you need clean meshes, freeform surfaces or print-ready models. Take Design X if you need editable, parametric CAD with a feature tree. Wrap is also a common prep step before Design X or Control X when scan data needs serious work.
