Day 1 turns raw scans into a clean, watertight mesh: the foundation every Design X model is built on. You finish the day with scan data ready to model.
Day 2 turns the mesh into design intent: regions, alignment and parametric features. Automatic region segmentation and best-fit alignment use Design X Pro.
Day 3 finishes the job with high-accuracy surfaces and complete models. Exact surfacing uses Pro tools. Go and Plus teams work with the tools their tier includes.

Each trainee needs a computer with Design X installed. A scanner is not required during the course. We work from scan data your team already has, and if you do not have any yet, we plan around that on the pre-training call.
Yes. Design X comes in Go, Plus and Pro tiers, and some tools, such as advanced surfacing, depend on the tier. We tailor the course to the licence tier your team runs, so no one spends time on tools they do not have.
No. This is a fundamentals course with no prerequisites. Engineers who already use a CAD package will find the parametric modelling familiar, but it is not required.
Yes, that is how we run it. We ask about your parts and scan data on the pre-training call so the course reflects the work your team does every day.
If your team models only in SOLIDWORKS and needs scan-to-CAD inside it, Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS training is usually the better fit. If you need deeper mesh repair, exact surfacing or output to more than one CAD platform, choose Design X.
